Chapter 10: Call of Duty: Ghost
Agent Rog called the Air Force, Marines, and Army to go out to space and take out the Chinese orbital weapon. Almost 300 men were about to be transported into space for what might be the biggest and most advanced battle in world history. Agent Rog, Agent Shawn, Agent Jayson, Agent TJ, and Agent Rex were about to be deployed into the depths of space. "ALRIGHT! I am Agent Rog of United States Secret Service. My fellow agents are Rex, Shawn, TJ, and Jayson. They have all been trained in the art of war. We are not just your average mall cop that signed up to be an important mall cop. We have trained equally as hard as you have and then some. My youngest Agent, TJ, Could most likely out shoot you, so do not take us lightly. I'm passing out a paper that has all the details of this mission. you would want to read it and study it so you're not standing around looking stupid! Does everyone understand what's going on?!" Everyone responded, "HOORAH!" "EVERYONE UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY'RE DOING," Agent Rog added and with another hoorah...everyone ran into the AC-130's waiting outside the hanger. 25 AC-130 Spectre Gunships took off into sky heading towards the NASA Headquarters.
Joint Base Lewis-McChord was about 2,000 miles from the Johnson Space Station. Agent Rog noticed TJ crying with his head down. "TJ, don't tell me after everything we have been through your crying now." He said patting TJ's back softly. "That's exactly it...I think after everything that we went through I'm finally feeling it. Look, Rog, I'm a bit emotional. I will get over it." TJ's responded studdering over his tears. "Look, TJ, the way I see it we're all going to have it kick in someday in our life. All the kills we made, all the people we have beat up, hell, even the one we even thought badly about. One day karma is gonna come back at us with such a wrath the some of us might not even be able to face her. You just gotta hang in there bro." Rog said trying to make himself cry to make TJ feel better.
About three hours into the trip, just about everyone was sleeping. Some rested on each other's shoulders, some laid on each other's stomachs. Some of the female troops slept toward the back of the plane cuddled up and cozy. TJ heard some of the guys in the cockpit talking about missile lock and stuff. TJ got up and walked towards the cockpit. "Hey, guys, what's going on?" He asked. "Well TJ Surprised to see you up." The pilot responded. "How are you guys feeling about combat in space?" TJ asked. "I don't know, it's kind of scary. I mean, can a gun even fire in space?" The pilot asked now that he thought about it. "I'm not sure, but look, when we arrive we will be introduced by General Major Bolden. G.M. Bolden will give us a crash corse on the physics of space and your average 3rd-grade solar system lesson. that means we train in one day and the next we launch to space." TJ told them. "Well, I hope I'll be good and rested for this." The pilot said.
Finally, the army of AC-130 planes arrived and landed on the tarmac in Huston, TX at the NASA Base. Platoon Sargents and Drill Sargent yelled loudly waking people up and rushing em' of the planes. "Let's go, let's go, move your butts, get your butts up, let's move, let's move!!" They yelled on. After everyone was off of the planes and at attention, we heard a someone walking down a hall like a tall woman with 6 inch high heels clipping and clopping on the tile floor. Out of nowhere General Major Boldens walked out and introduced himself, and he made sure we heard him. M.G. Bolden yelled loudly telling everyone about what's was about to happen. "Listen up! The next days are about to pass by quicker than you can say three. On day one, which is today, you will have your rest. You can't train tired soldiers. On day two you will undergo a crash course on space and combat. The combat part should go by quick but it will take some time for us to go over the space part. On day three we load up the ship and head for the skies at 0700. So I want you guys to go and get that rest cause tomorrow is a no willy nilly day! Now wat I am passing out now is confidential to the government about his mission. DO NOT lose this paper in the wind. The papers are named so if found we will find you. " G.M. Bolden was serious about every word he said.
So everyone got up and head for their sleeping quarters and went to sleep. "Hey TJ you know that game you were playing the other day? Some Call of Duty game." Agent Jayson said confused. "Yeah Call of Duty: Ghost... What about it?" TJ asked. "you remember that last mission when you had that fight in space to save the world from Odin or Loki whatever they called it....doesn't this seem like that mission?" Jayson said snickering softly. All of a sudden TJ got a weird chill down his spine because of the Deja Vu he was experiencing at the moment. "Yeah, Jayson it is kinda like that," TJ said finally realizing he would be bringing Call of Duty to life. "Well anyway let's get some sleep. I got a feeling that tomorrow there will be no playing around cause you're tired." TJ said. "Yeah, I agree," Agent Jayson responded.
It would be 5:30 in the morning when General-Major Bolden came shouting down the hall to wake everyone up. Banging on doors and kicking them. Some slept in their training clothes just to be up and ready to the next today. "Alright, wake up you lazy sack of bones. Time to start PT and we'll be ready for the next part of space combat. Come on wake yourselves up let's go!!" General Major said. Everyone slugged around putting on clothes and preparing for inspection. Those that slept in their clothes we're already ready for the day. All day the men and women of the military worked hard trained hard for deep space combat. 0 gravity test, and motion sickness test went on all through the day. 8:56 pm, everyone finally getting their break and prepping for what Major-General called, "Night Night." "Hey, Shawn what do you think about this space mission? How do you think it will go?" TJ asked curiously. "I don't know bud...it's all kinda scary you know? I know we learned that depending on the gun we use it won't knock us back and one bullet hit could damage the suit and kill us, but it's just not clicking. I got a feeling that when getting in that Spaceship tommorrow..i'm gonna have my eyes closed." Agent Shawn laughed as he joked about it. "Yeah, well let's get some sleep. Tomorrow is takeoff day." TJ responded.
7:00 am. Everyone up and ready at their sleeping quarter's doors ready to board 4 different spaceships. "Alright..." Major-General Bolden said walking into the room, "I want everyone to keep their heads on, and let's get up and out. There will be no, vomiting, no yelling, no screaming like little school girls, no pooping, and definitely no peeing on my ships. I will find out who did and you will regret it. Now, as soon as we exit the atmosphere there will most likely be instantaneous gunfire. We will lose about 20 men just by exiting the ship. In the lucky case that they are not out and they are hiding somewhere and we do get the chance to take cover then we are just lucky. You will take your positions as you exit the spaceship and do inventory check until the enemy arrives. Remember DO NOT RUPTURE YOU SUIT!" General-Major finished with a speech and how great it was to train us. By 11:37 we were all in line for the elevator to the ship's entrance. Many were already crying even before they got to the elevator.
