Cameron Boyce is the newest Disney sensation that tweens across the country can’t get enough of. Between 2013 and 2014 he even provided the voice of the title character Jake in the original Disney show series Jake And The Never Land Pirates. Not content simply to act and do voice over work he also belongs to a breakdancing crew called “X Mob.”
2008 brought the TV debut of Cameron Boyce in a music video of Panic At The Disco. He was also featured as a younger version of Ryan Ross’s character in That Green Gentleman (Things Have Changed.) By 2009 he was featured in a commercial for Burger King. The commercial was to advertise the kid’s meal toys promoting the Transformers movie Revenge Of The Fallen.
2010 saw Cameron playing the part of the spoiled child of Adam Sandler in Grownups. In 2010 he also made an appearance on a dance show called The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers. The next year he first appeared in a guest starring role on the TV show Good Luck Charlie, airing on the Disney channel as well. The same year he also played a small part in the movie Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer. Fans may also recognize him from 2011’s Shake It Up, a dance show also airing on the Disney channel. It was in September of 2011 that he was cast to play the role of Jesse in Jake And The Never Land Pirates. The character of Jesse was first envisioned as being a Korean boy adopted by the family in the show, but when Cameron Boyce auditioned the producers fell in love with him for the roll of Jake. They recreated the part of Jake so that Cameron would fit the bill.
Upcoming for Cameron is the Disney TV movie “Descendants” where he plays Carlos and a film in the early stages by the name of Bare Knuckle Days, it is still too early to know if the film will actually be completed.
