    • As many of you have seen over the years, I have kept you all informed of the Oscar race, Oscar-contending movies and of Oscar predictions. One thing I have decided is that there will be a few changes this year than what I've did from last year.

For one thing, I won't be as hepped up and keeping constant track of all the awards shows. This is for two things. First is that I'm now 28 and as you age, your priorities change. That kind of explains why I post or comment here roughly once every two weeks. Don't get me wrong. I still like it here. I also still like posting talk about my favorite young actors past and current. It's just that I don't has as much about young actors to talk about as I used to. Second is that I have computer on Kaspersky. And my Kaspersky labels AwardsDaily, my traditional Oscar-tracking site, an 'infected' site. That does kind of limit how much I can keep track of the various awards winners and the top Oscar contenders this year. A bit of a disappointment, but like I said I'm getting older and I figure that now's a good time to take it easy on Oscar watching from now on.

Anyways here's the good news. Before you all think all is lost with me, it's not. I won't be keeping too much track of the Oscar race this year but I will be keeping good track of it. I will still check Wikipedia for nominees and winners of top awards. I will still participate in Oscar nominee and winner prediction contests. It's just I'm not as hepped up as I used to. I figure if AwardsDaily's prediction contests don't have prizes and the wins are simply for bragging rights, it's not worth it to sweat it out. It's worth it to have an interest but not worth it to sweat it out. Same with seeing the Best Picture nominees. It's not worth sweating it out to see them all before awards day. Worth seeing them all this year but not worth it to weat it out seeing them before awards day. I still plan on making this my thirteenth year in a row seeing them all but if I don't before awrads day, I'm not worried.

Also one thing that won't change is how I go about the race as far as this site is concerned. I will still post polls for you all for the GGs, SAGs and Oscars and even the young actor award for the Critics Choice. I will also keep you in the know of my predictions. However I think nomination predictions I'll put a limit of ten or twelve categories. Winner predictions will of course be the full twenty-four.

Anyways thanks for your support over the years and thank you for your understanding for this year. I'm unsure whether myf irst poll will be a GG poll or the Critics Choice poll. Whatever it is, you'll definitely get it. Stay tuned for more!

He sat next to a friend on a charity event when they crashed against a tree.

The car catched fire and they were instantly dead.

I was able to see the Blackfish the eye-opening documentary directed by Gabriela Cowperthwaite. Blackfish" is a well done but disturbing documentary that will make you looks hard at what real value parks like SeaWorld have. This film only reinforced in me the truth that these whales belong with their families in their natural habitat, not performing for audiences in some pool. I have never paid my money to attend one and after this they sure as hell will not see a dime of my money. These magnificent creatures made to perform to the tune of billions in profits with no care for what it might be doing to them all for the sake of the dollar and selling tons of cute little killer whale stuffed toys. It is time to release all of them and close these Roman coliseums down.

      Free the Whales

      RIP Dawn

    • Agreed, I saw the doc and it really opens your eye to the plight of these magnificent creatures, I have been to SeaWorld and seen a show and now I think diff on shows like that.

    • September 12, 2013 2:20 PM EDT
    • Well they certainly don't have these magnificent creatures in a bath tub for educational purposes it is for $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ yes imagine a creature who swims miles a day in the wide open sea now confined to a sodding bathtub for these greedy executives.

    • Good and I agree I love to see the Killer Whales but not in a swimming pool in the Ocean.

Free the whales, wonder if the whales can keep some humans in a tank and have whales pay to see them do some tricks?

    • @OmahaTrevor, ye I understand exactly what you mean and I know the movies on your que are loved by the real cineam fans but I see you also understand what I meant.

However I have seen some slow artsy type movies that I have liked, for instance that oldie "Billy Elliot" I liked and that is no action film.

I also liked comedy another oldie "The Full Monty" was bloody hilarious lad.

Personally not one of you top ten I even bothered to see, they don't appeal to me I am more a Dark Knight Rising, Pacific Rim kind of lad I just want to be entertained not put to sleep. by stuff like Amour.

Not that your list is not good movies to the true movie fanatics that like that sort.

I know what you mean. I'm 27 so of course the oher types would appeal to me. It's not to say I'm not entertained by your kind of movies. I like them too. However I put film quality ahead of my personal preferences when making such a list. I didn't really enjoy Amour either but I thought it was an excellent film. There are a lot of films I don't like but I consider excellent as far as filmmaking goes.

Here is my take on Grown Ups 2

      Sucks

      Waste of Time

      Garbage

      Rubbish

I want my money back, I want my 101 Minutes back that I sat and stared at the screen at this waste of a movie, Adam Sandler stop making movies please, so that someone ele can win a razzie.

The only reason this Horse manure  has a 5.9 rating at IMDB is because pre-tten Cameron Boyce fangirls giving it 10's,  if you have not seen it stay away 101 Minutes can be used to paint your wall sit and atre at it and watch it dry, use the admission money to give to some kids chsrity not to a hollywood studio that throws such rubish to the public.

    • Well I can't comment since I would not waste my hard earn cash on such chaff that will make some money due to the cast and not the content.

Adam Sandler is a perennial Razzie contender, what a dubious distinction.

    • Well a few things in Grown Ups 2 did make me laugh out loud but  I agree it was a stupid movie. IMHO before Cameron Boyce fans flame me.

    • August 10, 2013 10:25 AM EDT
    • Yes I have read so many bad reviews on Grown Ups 2, and on rotten tomatoes it is being dissed by people.

    • K I like Cameron Boyce but i have to admit the movie was a waste. lol
