  From IMDB and I do not have much info but Gabriel Bateman will appear in the pilot and hopefully a full series named The Mosquito Coast where An idealist who uproots his family and moves them to Latin America.

  
  

  I am not sure how I feel about this as it is obviously based on the movie with Harrison Ford and River Phoenix and that is one of my fav movies. However, with what is going on nothing can be filmed so who knows but I do hope it gets out and is good.

  I love that movie because I love River Phoenix so I hope this series is not junk, I do like Gabriel Bateman so I hope he is good in the role. I kind of think a series about it would not last as I think what else could be covered that's new that was missing from that excellent movie.
