Yes in 1979 a little Australian movie hit the shores of North America and took it by storm. It was a post apocalypse film where an Australian policeman sets out to avenge his partner, his wife and his son whom were murdered by a motorcycle gang in retaliation for the death of their leader.

The movie "Mad Max" starred a little know actor at that time by the name of Mel Gibson, well that and it’s two sequels shot him to mega fame and the rest is history.

Fast forward to 2015 and here comes “Mad Max: Fury Road” with a different plot and even setting, what do you think of this coming new film and have you seen the originals and what did you think of them?

I might not agree with you on some things but this I do, "Mad Max" (1979) is an awesome movie and the best of the original 3.

I am also shocked it took so long to do a reboot of the trilogy, this is no sequel just a reboot of the brand. I agree with Navy Mad Max is something to see. I was not around in 79 but I had the chance to see it in a cinema and what an experience, I saw the full trilogy.
The weakest of the three is 1985’s beyond Thunderdome and my Fav is the second The Road Warrior.
I must add while a true reboot of Mad max was not done in sometime there is no doubt the sequel influenced a lot of movies from then on the speed and complete chaos, war on the hiway type films like Fast & Furious.

Liked Mad Max and loved The Road Warrior, I did not care too much for Beyond Thunderdome it was the weakest in thes eries but not junk by an means.
