Skai Jackson is an American child actress who was born in New York City on April 8, 2002, she began her career as a child model appearing in numerous national commercials, including for Band-Aid bandages. She played Zuri Ross for four seasons on Disney’s hit series Jessie with Debby Ryan, Cameron Boyce, Peyton List and  Karan Brar.

In 2009, she was cast member of the Nickelodeon pre-school animated series Bubble Guppies playing the role of Little Fish. From 2010 to 2011 she made a guest appearances on the television series Team Umizoomi, "Royal Pains" and Boardwalk Empire. For 2012 Skai appeared in the series Odessa, "Bubble Guppies", "Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil" and took her Jessie's Zuri Ross to an episode of Austin & Ally. Skai also was a guest star on Disney's "Good Luck Charlie" in a crossover with Jessie.

After Jessie ended after four seasons Skai and the rest of the cast minus Cameron Boyce moved seamlessly in the new series "Bunk'd" where Emma, Ravi, and Zuri Ross head off to a rustic summer camp in Maine, where their parents met as teens.
 
Her first major acting role was in the independent film "Liberty Kid" (2007). She then went on to appear in roles in the films "Rescue Me" (2008), "The Rebound" (2009), "Arthur" (2011), "The Smurfs" (2011) and G.I. Joe: Retaliation (2013). Skai has also appeared in the TV movies "The Watson’s Go To Birmingham," (2013) based on the novel of the same name and "My Dad's a Soccer Mom" (2014).
