Alex Etel is a young actor from Manchester in England who made his motion picture debut in the 2004 film Millions as Damian Cunningham. Alex gave an outstanding performance and received several Nominations for his performance including the Saturn for Best Performance by a Younger Actor, the British Independent Film Award Most Promising Newcomer and Critics Choice Award Best Young Actor. Despite not winning the three Nominations are proof of his performance. He has also appeared in the five-part TV adaptation of Elizabeth Gaskell's The Cranford Chronicles for the BBC and WGBH.

Alex also starred in 2007 in the release of The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep where he plays the role of Angus MacMorrow. According to the IMDB he also appeared in From Time to Time and Ways to Live Forever (2010). He is also rumoured for the films The Replaceman and Tunnels.

Etel currently attends school and enjoys football, swimming, listening to music, PlayStation, playing the trampoline, go-carting, and playing cricket. He hopes to one day play for Manchester United, his favourite team.
