Angourie Rice is an Australian teen actress who was born on January 01, 2001; she started off her film career by appearing in several short films starting with 2009’s “Hidden Clouds” and two years later in the title role for “Mercy.” It was the following year when she started to get attention following her appearance in “Transmission” for which she was awarded Best Actor at the St. Kilda Film Festival in 2012. She later appeared in “Karnivool 'We Are' Video” and “Coping” both in 2013.

The year 2013 is when she started to move on to feature films with roles in “These Final Hours” and “Walking with Dinosaurs 3D.” She then appeared in “Nowhere Boys: The Book of Shadows” (2016) and that same year in “The Nice Guys” as Holly March.

The year 2017 proved to be a break-out as she played Eliza Wishart in “Jasper Jones,” Jane in “The Beguiled” and Betty in “Spider-Man: Homecoming.” For 2018 she stars in the films “Every Day” where a shy teenager falls for someone who transforms into another person every day and "Ladies in Black" as Lisa. She returns to play Betty once more in the blockbuster Spider-Man: Far from Home (2019)

Her TV roles include “The Doctor Blake Mysteries” (2014), “Worst Year of My Life, Again!” (2014), “Mako Mermaids” (2015) and for 2019 she guest stars on the series "Black Mirror" in the episode  Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too.
