Daniel Huttlestone is a British teen actor who was born on September 17, 1999, he is best known for his role as Gavroche in Tom Hooper's Les Misérables . His performance earned him a Young Artist Award nomination for Best Young Supporting Actor in a Feature Film.
He began acting at the age of nine, on the West End in Oliver and then went on to play Gavroche in Les Miserables stage production. He also completed a UK tour of Oliver, starring as “Dodger.”
Daniel also appeared as jack in Disney’s Into the Woods (2014) where a witch conspires to teach important lessons to characters of some popular children's stories. He also landed the roles of Shay Baker in the feature "London Town" (2016) in the film In 70's London, a 14-year-old boy is introduced to the Clash by his estranged mother and it changes his life forever.
He also appears in The Lost City of Z (2016) as Brian Fawcett, the film is about the legendary British explorer Percy Fawcett ventured into the Amazon jungle in 1925 to search of a fabled civilization. He never returned.
