Zero Dark Thirty??? are you serious I have not seen it but have read a lot of critcism of it even one from a regular here about it being too long and very boring first half and all the protest of the use of torture.

I for one have no intention of seeing it.

I really hope "Lincoln" pulls if out ove "Zero Dark Thirty" if not "Django Unchained" but stuffy Hollywood never give it to something so refreshing and against the norms of movie making because Quentin makes what he wants and don't give a damn about HW.

I am glad "Argo" beat out "Zero Dark Thirty" but I also was hoping Lincoln got it, Argo was good but from what I heard it is also a lie they diminish the role a Canadian last name Taylor played in the whole thing, the director changed it up.

Lovely, glad to see "Django Unchained" get best screenplay.

So the lovely and talented Jodie Foster came out, well good for her she is a fantastic actress and seems like a nice private person, she is a fav.

Nice to see Watts got a nomination she was brilliant in "The Impossible", on the subject of that movie I think it was robbed and should have been up for best film.

The Impossible is a must see with Watts and young Holland owning it, this is an exceptionally well made and acted film.

The stunning early beauty of Thailand is then shattered with the destruction wrought by the waves, the scenes of Holland and Watts been swept along conjurs up sheer terror, in one particular scane a second wave sends Hollnad churning under the water as if in a blender before he resurfaces and they are carried far inland.

    Highly recommended.

The stuff shirts of the Academy can't handle the fresh brashness and brilliance of Quentin Tarantino.

Yeah. Tarantino's brilliant but one person gave a comment in which got me thinking. Someone said this it seems like Quentin is obsessed with the theme of vengeance. I kind of had to agree with it since I saw Lincoln weeks earlier, and that's a movie about justice being done to slavery. Then I see Django about revenge on slavery. I kind of agree that like him, I would have appreciated Django more had it not been fo r Lincoln and that it appears Quentin over the theme of revenge. Some good points.
