Top 10 Failed Oscar Bait of the 21st Century

    The first year I did the Oscarwatching was actually the first year I discovered TSO: 2000. Back then, Pay It Forward appeared to be the biggest failed Oscar bait ever. Actually this countdown shows there's been bigger. Way bigger:

    A good find with this video Trevor, I agree with all on the list but the one I thougt before I saw it that would be in contention was All The Kings Men.

    I prefer movies made to entertain not trying to get Oscar nominations.

    All pretentious movies with a niche audience, give me a nice rip roaring Pirates of The Caribbean any day.

    Back in the 30's, 40's and 50's, movies that entertained the public in big numbers did win big at the Oscars. Interesting how things change over time.

    I saw all of those productions and I thought Oscar for most except the atrocious Amelia.

    The make many of those pompous Oscar pretenders over here in the UK.
