Lets use this thread to talk about Anne season 2, what do you think will happen or what you would like to see, so far from a topic at radiotimes.com they report that we should wonder what will happen to Gilbert after his father died and he moved out of the village and wondering if he and Anne has a romantic future together.

The article also stated that Netflix has promised that the show will “continue to chart bold new territory, adding new characters and storylines and continuing to explore themes of identity, prejudice, feminism, bullying, gender parity and empowerment.” The bullying is where I am sure Billy comes in. cx

They went on to say the 10 episodes of season 2 will be brave and bold and full of wonder,” Walley-Beckett said in a statement. “It is colourful, exciting, action-packed and, of course, full of heart.

@TOGirl, this is anice post you have this club up to number 2 in a few months, well Anne might have helped also but great job.
I like the part with more action, I seriously doubt that Anne and Gilbert will be linked romantically, if so he wil get the gears more heavier from Billy.
I think BIlly after what happend in episode 6 will want some revenge, well I hope so lol that is how I would write it. Oh and his bully friends need to step-up.

Good article, I also know Anne is the star but a littlemore on screen time for the other kids, mainlky BIlly Andersen and some nice conflict with him and Gilbert.
If Gilbert is back seems he is headed out of town time Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn all he need was his bag on a stick.

Well based on the Article it seems this new season wil be even more gritty and more action as they continue to explore bullying so to me could that be more involvement for Billy Andrews?

As long as season 2 of Anne has the same quality of the first season it will be awesome but I have a feeling this season will be even better. So they are shooting this fall and it is on Netflix next year, I wonder if around the same May release time.

The best news to hear we get to see more of Christian and the rest of the lovely teen cast of Anne, I will admit I was not worried that it was cancelled it is just to good to be a one and done. I know wish a few more seasons of it.

I like this comment that season 2 will "explore themes of identity, prejudice, feminism, bullying, gender parity and empowerment.”

I have to admit for a minute there I thought Netflix and CBC were out of their minds and would not bring back Anne.
