How do I stop getting so many Notification Emails?

I am like very new and it is cool here but how do I stop getting so many emails about things, can I pick the ones I want to get?

    Hi Jay, welcome you can change them at this link, you can turn all off ot just leave the ones oyu want..removing the check mark turns them off.....alsothis link is a full FAQ for any questions you have on the site.
