A big fan of Percy Hynes White many years ago I watched this not expecting such a gritty movie I was expecting a little light-hearted family-type movie but was I wrong the movie is the shocking story of a boy going through some really tough things.

The place where it was shot is so beautiful I think around the same Canadian area as Anne With An E but the best part was the acting of young PHW and I have been a fan since.

Jude Traynor for sure is a punk delinquent but what a hard life he endured and went through things too much for an adult furthermore a kid his age, awesome but gritty movie.
