Percy Hynes White is an excellent young actor, I will admit I had not heard of this talented teen before I decided to watch “Edge of Winter” and too notice of his fine performance. I had decided to watch the film because I noticed it featured Tom Holland I knew of his fine acting from his work in “The Impossible” from 2012 where he played Lucas.

The Edge of Winter has Tom Holland and Percy Hynes White playing two brothers who one day is picked up by the father they hardly known and taken on a trip in the woods to do some shooting, events lead to them getting stranded by a brutal winter storm and they start to suspect their supposed protector may be their biggest threat.

Percy Hynes White caught my eye, this lead to me looking for more films he might be in and discovered “Cast No Shadow” (2014). White was about 11 years when he appeared in the film which also stars his actor/writer dad Joel Thomas Hynes and based on a book he authored.

Young Percy Hynes White handles some quite difficult material with such ease I forgot I was watching a film; this kid is one to watch. The movie handles some tough subjects in that summer in the life of Jude Traynor and might not be to all taste but check this out for a fine performance.

Oh and he was awarded several awards for his role in the film.

Nice review, first I heard of him is now but he is hot, so I am going to look for those movies to watch. :)

I saw Cast No Shadow, did not know who he was but I did say that kid playing Jude is a really good actor, plays a very delinquent young boy very real.

I agree, saw him in Cast No Shadow he was unreal in almost every scene and just aced it. One of the best acting jobs by a oyung actor, deserves to be seen by more. Then I caught Edge of Winter and was more impressed.

Excellent performance by the then 11 year old actor, I could not take my eyes off him when he was on screen. Amazing performance and a good movie. Much better film than Edge of Winter but he is also very good in that.

Cast No Shadow is an awesome movie and what an awesome acting job by Percy Hynes White. THis movie keeps you locked on the screen, the life of this kid and the acting wow just watch it. I nevr heard of him before this movie to be honest and then looked up info on here.
