Gavin Casalegno is an American teen actor who born on September 2, 1999, he started acting at the age of seven and has gone on to appear in feature films as well as several TV series.
He started out in television appearing in the pilot for the series "Chase" and uncredited as a wedding guest on "Lone Star." His other TV role to date was as Young Damon on an episode of
The Vampire Diaries (2015).
The following year he started what has been a string of feature film appearances with an uncredited role in "Butter" (2011) and playing Mason in "Hear Me Whisper" (2011). Gavin went on in 2012 to appear uncredited as a roller skater in the feature "The Ice Man," that same year he filmed the direct to video "I am... Gabriel." The year 2014 was a good one with roles in "Noah" as Young Shem, playing Michael Ladouceur in "When the Game Stands Tall" and as Bobby in "Dead Still."
The year 2016 saw him featured in the short films "A Taylor Story" as Michael and
It's Now or Never as Adidas Laufer, he will also play Sage Alexander in the short
Sage Alexander Hall of Nightmares: VR Experience (2017), and as Cole Jackson in the feature "Nine Seconds." Gavin also can be seen as Reed in
The Unhealer (2020).
Gavin also has to his credit numerous commercials and print campaigns for national retailers and magazines. He has trained and studied with several of the most highly regarded acting coaches and casting directors in the industry and has developed a great emotional range and memorization skills in the process.
When Gavin is not acting, he can be found training with his European soccer coach, who he plays select soccer for. He is also an honor roll student and enjoys spending time with his family and friends when time allows.
