Jakob Salvati was born on November 21, 2003, and started his acting career at the age of 4 and soon was appearing in commercials for Target, Nintendo Wii and Harley-Davidson.
Jakob played Boris Walraven in the short-lived television series “Red Widow” (2013) and before that also made appearances in the series "Criminal Minds" (2015, “Grimm” (2014), “Cleaners” (2013), “Victorious” (2012), “Mad Men” (2008) and 'Til Death (2008).
His film work includes the independent films “Escape from Tomorrow” and “Unthinkable,” starring Samuel L. Jackson. Jakob also appeared in the award-winning short film “Crescendo I” (2011). The short won Best Short Film Awards from the Hollywood Film Festival and the Big Bear Lake International Film Festival.
Jakob gets his big break with the February 2015 release of the feature Little Boy where he plays the lead, Pepper Busby/Little Boy, alongside Emily Watson. The story finds a young American boy struggling to achieve the impossible - to bring his father back from World War II.
Jakob also enjoys soccer, swimming, and gymnastics, as well as singing and playing the drums.
