Lewis MacDougall is a Scottish teen actor who was born on June 5, 2002, in Edinburgh, Scotland. He is known for his outstanding performance of Conor in the feature film “A Monster Calls” (2016). Conor is a young boy going through some very tough situations in life who seeks the help of a tree monster to cope with his single mom's terminal illness. Lewis is receiving rave reviews for his performance with some awards sure to follow. Lewis was just 12 years old at the time of filming.

He made his feature film debut playing Nibs in 2015’s “Pan”  after his club drama teacher saw his potential and suggested that he join the advanced acting group. Here he was spotted by casting director Orla O’Connor who visited scouting for young talent to be in Joe Wright’s Pan. After several long auditions, he was cast as Petar Pan's best friend Nibs.

Up next he is set to appear in the feature “The Belly of the Whale” in the lead role of Joey Moody. He plays a misfit teenager who returns home in a bid to reopen his family's crumbling Caravan Park. When Joey accidentally burns down Ronald Tanner’s campervan, he is forced to find the cash to repay him.

He is also set to play Henry in “Boundaries” (2017) in this role he and his mom are forced to drive her estranged, pot-dealing, carefree father Jack across country after being kicked out of a nursing home.

With his eye-opening performance in A Monster Calls and the upcoming films watch out for Lewis MacDougall. Lewis is a big football fan and Whilst filming A Monster Calls in Barcelona he was lucky enough to see Barcelona play on their home ground.
