    It is spot on, good show that young boy was proper nang, good job.
    It was not boring like some pikeys claim, but yes it was slow but it stil had you not wanting to stop watching.

    It was good, give it a chance fellow teens, I know there is very little action etc but it is good. I expect Jared Breeze will get many offers where a kid is needed his age now.

    A good movie but the slow pace will not to be the liking of some, however I think the slow pace is important for the atmosphere.

    Those shots of silent bored Ted ads to the isolation and loneliness of Ted, this is no place for a 9 year old boy stuck in the middle of nowhere and practically running the dilapidated motel. The cast is excellent with Rainn Wilson as the shady drifter stuck at the motel and the always excellent David Morse as the seemingly depressed father. The show belongs to young Jared Breeze who carries the film on his young shoulders. The film is ripe for a sequel to see what is next for Ted.

    I liked it, I guess you can say yes it was slow moving but I did not mind that at all. The boy did a very good job at acting. I am no big movie buff or anything but I thought it was good.

    I love it, a must see with some good acting by the leads, The young kid Jared Breeze gives a breakout performance.
    See this movie folks, a few dollars well spent.

    We watched it, it was kind slow but you keep waiting for something to happen. I liked it kid was spooky as hell. lol

    The movie was cool, Jared Breeze was freeky and weird so that means he did a good job. lol

    Watched this movie again, slow but you can't stop watching Jared is amazing.

    OMG! I only just recently saw "The Boy" and Jared Breeze is not just cute he did and awesome job playing the messed up kid. lol
    The movie is slow in many parts but I love the acting and the story and you had to keep watching to see what The Boy was going to get up to next. I also like the bleak scenery where the Hotel is located.

    Yep, I saw it and it is slow at times but you have to keep watching, Jared Breeze is so good in it. Here we see a serial killer to be at just 9 years old, I heard there are two more movies following him as he grows.
