Ben Hyland is an American teen actor who was born on June 23, 2002, in Long Island, New York, USA as Benjamin Hyland he made his film debut in "Marley & Me” (2008) at the age five the film starred Owen Wilson, Jennifer Aniston, and Eric Dane.

Hyland then went on to made guest appearances in episodes of "Michael & Michael Have Issues." (2009) and the following year, “Law & Order: Criminal Intent" as Bobby in the episode (True Legacy).

Ben then went on to appear in the features Somebody’s Hero (2011) as Jake Wells and the following year in “To Redemption” as Young Joey. He also guest-starred on the series "Blue Bloods" that same year. He went on to play the recurring role of Corey Stoll's son in Netflix's drama series House of Cards. He was also featured in the Ralph Macchio's short film, "Across Grace Alley," which premiered at the Santa Barbara Film Festival in 2014.

Ben found himself once more playing Corey Stoll’s son in the first season of the series "The Strain"  based on the best-selling vampire novel trilogy from Academy Award®-winning filmmaker Guillermo del Toro and author Chuck Hogan. Hyland plays Zach Goodweather the son of Dr. Ephraim Goodweather, (Corey Stoll) the head of the Center for Disease Control Canary Team in New York City. Ben was replaced by Max Charles for the show's second season.

Ben has two pet hamsters, Moon Scar and Rhino and is the eldest of three boys. He also sings and dances and is an avid reader.
